The symbolism of the Two White Horses runs deep for the Nyström siblings.  Back in the springtime of their youths the pair became embroiled in the throes of spite and malice on a family car trip to the very north of Sweden. A lunch break that could have passed without remark had turned into a battle of words and feet kicking around towards anything in their way, and eventually led into the roadside forest, where the darlings wandered without notice towards a shady glen.  In a quick moment of silence they looked up into the dapled sunlight and saw two white horses calmly watching them, as if waiting for the children to regain their senses. Which they did, and felt forever marked by the episode. Fifteen years later Jakob and Lovisa formed their band - a band that hopes to embody a similar sentiment.

Two White Horses’s debut album is released by the band Sahara Hotnights’ own label, Stand By Your Band. Sweden’s leading music magazine said this about the album:

Two White Horses bildades när syskonen Jakob och Lovisa Nyström satt hemma i Umeå och insåg att de hade melodier att framföra och saker att säga. Tillsammans. De rotade fram skinande vita kläder ur garderoben och började iklädda dessa framföra melodramatiska popsånger. I vanliga fall är Jakob sångare och låtskrivare i Isolation Years. Lovisa körar med artister som Frida Hyvönen och David Sandström Overdrive. Under 2008 har båda varit en del av Annika Norlins Säkert! och turnerat i hela landet.

Vintern 2008/2009 kommer syskonens första fullängdare, den släpps på Sahara Hotnights egen etikett Stand By Your Band. Det är en vacker och säregen historia producerad av Marcus Holmberg från Komeda.
